Job summary

Nextech is seeking a HVAC/R Technician to deliver reliable, high-quality commercial service. You’ll diagnose, repair, install, and maintain systems, with after-hours on-call as needed. You’ll document service details using iPads and keep vehicles and tools in top condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician
• May require a Journeyman's License in some states
• May require state specific licenses
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans
• Basic comfort with mobile apps and technology
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to quality
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components
• Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations
• Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads
• Maintain your company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to the highest standards
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery
• Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers
