Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United States is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, startup, diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC&R equipment for customers across the region. This on-site role includes training, travel within the region, and collaboration with customers, electricians, and project teams to resolve complex issues.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years HVAC&R service experience, a safety‑minded approach, and the ability to read schematics and write service reports.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HVAC&R service experience, ideally servicing complex equipment.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.
• Universal EPA certification and understanding of refrigeration, chillers, hydronics, and controls is a plus.
• Strong safety practices and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners and support teams.
• Complete field service reports and data sheets; travel as needed.
• Collaborate with District Manager/Regional Service Director on escalated issues.
• Ongoing training on products in the field and classroom.
