Job summary

LG Electronics in Alpharetta, Georgia, is seeking a Product Development Engineer II to advance the HVAC equipment portfolio. You will develop expertise in manufacturing and development to deliver better value for customers from our US HVAC R&D Center.

As a Product Development Engineer II, you will provide engineering insights, screen and analyze performance, evaluate data, and collaborate with labs to create acquisition models and manuals for US commercialization after product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 1+ years of experience in HVAC or related fields preferred.
• 3D CAD, GD&T and data interpretation experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide HVAC engineering insights and improve new product development.
• Screen, analyze and support new HVAC product performance; recommend next steps.
• Statistically evaluate, interpret and support collected product data.
• Evaluate, analyze and support data from field-based testing using statistics.
• Review shortcomings and faults of current design to pinpoint weaknesses.
• Communicate with HVAC R&D and labs to provide US usage-based statistics.
• Assist in preparation for service, installation and engineering manuals.
