Job summary

Next Level HVAC Energy Management Systems seeks an experienced operations professional to supervise HVAC DDC control projects in California. The role focuses on technical leadership, mentoring, and ensuring efficient workflow for the operations team on complex installations and service projects.

The candidate will influence estimating and scheduling, coordinate with sales and contractors, and ensure accurate forecasting of project costs to maximize cash flow and meeting budgeted goals.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in HVAC or Electronics preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Mechanical related studies preferred.
• Experience with DDC controls and building systems is desirable.
• Strong supervisory and mentoring capabilities for operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to assigned employees including HR, financial and technical training.
• Input to sales and operations on technical and business considerations for projects.
• Ensure staffing levels meet project needs based on skill sets.
• Forecast project costs and track to budgeted goals.
• Oversee material needs and timing to maximize cash flow and efficiency.
• Manage Installation Specialists and field techs in coordination with contractors.
• Prepare monthly WIP forecasts and address issues as they arise.
• Assist with engineering reviews to meet scope and customer expectations.
• Lead estimation, design, installation, startup, commissioning, and training for building systems.
