United Mechanical in San Jose, CA is seeking a Project Manager - HVAC Service to lead commercial HVAC and plumbing service projects from estimating through closeout. You will own delivery, budgets, and customer satisfaction while coordinating with field teams, sales, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure profitable, on-time performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or related field experience.
• 5–7+ years of project engineering experience in HVAC, MEP, or construction.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing systems, including ductwork, piping, refrigeration, and energy efficiency solutions.
• Proficiency with estimating and project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, FastPIPE, and FastDUCT.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Project Execution: Manage assigned service projects from planning through closeout, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety expectations.
• Develop Estimates & Proposals: Define project scope and prepare detailed estimates and proposals for repairs, replacements, retrofits, and installations.
• Own Project Financials: Track project costs, review financial performance, manage change orders, and adjust to support profitability.
• Coordinate Field Operations: Develop schedules with Area Supervisors, Foremen, and service teams, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and resources.
