Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for commercial HVAC in San Jose, CA. This full-time, on-site role leads HVAC and plumbing construction projects, coordinating engineering, purchasing, accounting, and field teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC/plumbing project management, strong estimating and budgeting skills, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered by Jobot.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience managing HVAC and/or plumbing construction projects or equivalent in estimating, design, and PM for projects ranging $50k–$25M+.
• Proven experience in estimating, proposal writing, contract negotiations, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and project-management skills; able to manage high-volume issues across teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Manage sales, leadership, and day-to-day management of HVAC and plumbing construction projects.
• Lead cross‑departmental efforts including engineering, purchasing, accounting, construction, and service.
• Promote and finalize sales (estimating, conceptual design, proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations).
• Prepare and control budgets; manage trade execution and project documentation.
• Maintain strong client and vendor relationships throughout project delivery.
