Job summary

Jobot is a growing commercial mechanical contractor seeking a Project Manager or Project Executive in San Jose to lead HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal, and piping projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You’ll manage multiple projects, drive financial performance, coordinate with field teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure safe, high‑quality, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery across Design Build, Plan & Specification, and IPD delivery models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC sheet metal, mechanical, refrigerant piping, and hydronic piping.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee HVAC projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Ensure work complies with standards, client requirements, and regulations.
• Oversee installation of HVAC systems, plumbing, and piping.
• Lead construction management with focus on safety and efficiency.
• Communicate progress to team and clients regularly.
• Resolve issues to minimize disruption.
• Keep projects within budget and mitigate overruns.
