Job summary

Harris Construction is seeking a Service Project Manager to lead HVAC construction projects in the United States. You will coordinate safety, document control, scheduling, procurement, and cost reporting while ensuring quality and timely completion.

The role requires strong construction knowledge, mechanical systems understanding, and proficiency with MS Office. Applicants should have a construction management degree and relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred.
• 3+ years in the building and construction industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
• Understanding of business administration and management principles.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles.
• 5+ years of Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management support during all HVAC construction phases.
• Attend field coordination meetings and distribute notes.
• Review, log and distribute contract documents, drawings and submittals.
• Draft, submit and track RFIs and responses.
• Administer project quality control and as-built documentation.
• Manage scope changes and negotiate change orders.
• Develop weekly/bi-weekly work plans to support schedule.
• Coordinate procurement, tool rentals and equipment shipping.
• Track labor productivity and project costs in accounting systems.
• Maintain communications among subcontractors, vendors and the project team.
