Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in estimating, design, and/or management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $25+ million.
• Ability to operate independently and autonomously.
• Strong interpersonal and project management abilities with solid organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of responsibility and main contact for the business and customer throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform all project management functions to promote and finalize sales, including concept engineering, estimating, proposals, and leading meetings.
• Manage contracts, including sales, estimating, procurement, and execution; coordinate field labor and installation sequencing between customer and field leadership.
• Forecast, prepare budget projections, control costs, and monitor job costs.
• Create essential documentation for business procedures and legal protection (letters, proposals, memos, contracts, change orders).
• Build and maintain cordial relationships with external clients, vendors, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Provide internal leadership and project coordination across Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service.
• Coordinate staff across internal departments to deliver contracted scope and meet customer requirements.
• Lead meetings with management, attend sales/construction meetings, and coordinate pre-construction kickoff meetings.
• Recruit, train, and coach staff while contributing to special studies and committees.
