Job summary

International Erosion Control Association in Queens, NY seeks an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from contract award through closeout. You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, engineers, field teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver safe, on‑time, within‑budget, and high‑quality outcomes.

• Proven experience managing commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical piping, and equipment installation.

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and client-management skills.
• Experience managing NYC projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from award to completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, and cost controls.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Lead project meetings, client communications, and site visits across New York City’s five boroughs.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Manage change orders, project documentation, financial reporting, and closeout activities.
• Identify and resolve project issues proactively to keep work progressing efficiently.

As an HVAC Project Manager, you will oversee projects from contract award through final closeout, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
