Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and minimum of two years related experience and/or training in the HVAC/R industry; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of current construction standards, adept in reading equipment schedules and mechanical blueprints, print take off, job estimating.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project documentation: review plans, blueprints, bills of quantities, schedules, and other documents or software to estimate costs.
• Research and negotiate: find suppliers and negotiate prices and quotes.
• Determine project timeline considering material pricing, budgets, quotes and setbacks.
• Assess risk and track variations to plans.
• Prepare bids: respond to RFQs, prepare proposals and submittal data.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal staff to gather data and provide information.
