The role emphasizes accuracy, deadlines, teamwork with operations, and travel to sites as needed. Final compensation reflects experience and project complexity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' trades estimating experience in commercial/industrial construction.
• 1+ years' Estimating/Pre-Construction experience; HVAC knowledge a plus.
• Proficient with estimating software (Autobid, Quote Soft, TSI, etc.).
• Strong understanding of construction assemblies and cost data interpretation.
• Advanced MS Office skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complete estimates for bids on HVAC/Sheet Metal projects.
• Solicit quotes from subcontractors and vendors to cover all scopes.
• Review plans, specs, and bid instructions for accuracy and completeness.
• Distribute documents to subs/vendors via FTP or email and track addenda.
• Develop bid strategies and participate in pre-bid meetings/site visits.
• Enter estimates into cost control systems and coordinate with operations.
