Jobot is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer with commercial HVAC experience to join our growing mechanical contracting team in Alameda, CA. You will manage multiple HVAC projects from start to finish, coordinating with architects, engineers and contractors to keep projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in a similar role, strong contract negotiation, budgeting and scheduling skills, and a proactive, safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Projects range from 50k to 25k+ million.
• Proven track record of successfully managing commercial plumbing projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Ability to review and negotiate contracts.
• Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong budget management skills.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of construction management principles.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Thrives in fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Relevant plumbing or construction management qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of commercial HVAC projects from planning to completion.
• Review contracts and negotiate terms for favorable outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with milestones.
