Project Management & Execution
  • Manage commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from project award through installation, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, labor projections, procurement, equipment deliveries, and overall financial performance.
  • Coordinate field supervision, project engineers, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Work closely with field teams to ensure mechanical installations align with project specifications, approved submittals, drawings, and applicable codes.
  • Monitor labor productivity, material costs, equipment procurement, and project progress to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
  • Identify project risks, resolve field coordination issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and cost overruns.

  • Manage punch lists, warranty documentation, as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and final project closeout.
  • Participate in preconstruction planning, conceptual budgeting, estimating, and project scope development for commercial HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, bid documents, and contract requirements to identify scope gaps, design conflicts, and potential risks.
  • Develop project budgets, cost forecasts, labor estimates, procurement schedules, and construction execution plans.
  • Coordinate subcontractor and vendor pricing, equipment quotations, material takeoffs, and scope reviews.
  • Evaluate HVAC equipment selections, piping and ductwork systems, temperature controls, and installation methods to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Lead value engineering efforts, constructability reviews, and coordination with general contractors, construction managers, engineers, and design teams.
  • Support competitive bid submissions, proposal development, scope clarifications, and contract negotiations.
  • Establish procurement strategies for major mechanical equipment, long-lead materials, and critical project components.
  • Manage project profitability, cost-to-complete projections, cash flow, billing, and financial reporting.
  • Review project costs, labor performance, purchase orders, subcontractor commitments, and material expenditures.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and track change orders, extra work, and scope modifications.

  • Review subcontractor and vendor invoices, progress billings, and payment applications for accuracy and contractual compliance.
  • Maintain accurate project forecasts and communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to company leadership.
Technical Coordination & Field Operations
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems, including air‑handling units, rooftop units, chillers, boilers, pumps, hydronic piping, ductwork, ventilation, and temperature controls.
  • Coordinate mechanical installations with electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, and architectural trades.
  • Review shop drawings, equipment submittals, coordination drawings, and installation details for compliance with project requirements.
  • Support field teams in resolving installation challenges, design discrepancies, equipment issues, and schedule conflicts.
  • Ensure work complies with applicable building codes, project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate system startup, controls integration, commissioning activities, and final acceptance with field personnel, vendors, controls contractors, and commissioning agents.
Client Relations & Business Development
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors, construction managers, owners, engineers, and other project stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities for additional work, change orders, repeat business, and long‑term client partnerships.
  • Represent the company professionally throughout the project lifecycle and contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project engineers, assistant project managers, coordinators, and other team members.
  • Establish clear expectations for project execution, communication, accountability, and performance.
