Job summary

Centurion Selection is seeking an HVAC Assistant Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of HVAC projects in Gainesville, FL. You will coordinate with team members, clients, and subcontractors to meet schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

The role involves technical support across design, installation, and maintenance, plus documentation control and reporting. A strong focus on communication, documentation, and safety is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC project management or engineering.
• Familiarity with HVAC design and installation practices.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools e.g. Procore.
• Candidates MUST have relevant experience to be considered for the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in the planning and execution of HVAC projects.
• Help develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Provide technical assistance in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address design and technical challenges.
• Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and meeting notes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and present project updates, reports, and presentations.
• Assist in conducting quality control inspections and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track project costs and assist in budget forecasting and management.
• Help identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
