Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an HVAC Project Manager to lead complex HVAC projects in the Gainesville area. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate from design through commissioning, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.

You will supervise field teams and subcontractors, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure compliance with HVAC codes and safety requirements. A relevant engineering degree plus HVAC PM experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• 3-5 years of project management experience in HVAC or construction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with PM software and HVAC codes; ability to manage budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, and schedules.
• Manage HVAC installations from design to commissioning within budget.
• Lead field teams, subcontractors, and coordination efforts.
• Communicate with clients, provide progress updates and change management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Identify risks and implement contingency plans.
• Maintain project documentation and close-out items.
