Job summary

Trane Technologies in Davidson, NC, is seeking a Product Support Engineer- Building Services to provide technical and strategic sales support for our chiller portfolio. You will help promote sustainability and energy efficiency in HVAC applications and advise on electrification and decarbonization efforts.

The role involves collaborating with service sales teams, conducting customer visits, and contributing to marketing content and product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant industry work experience is required.
• 2+ years of engineering related work experience is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to travel independently up to 10% of the time required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and marketing/sales support to the service sales field organization through phone/email support, direct customer interaction, special product selection/pricing/quotation activity, new product development, marketing content, and customer factory visits.
• Travel to sales offices, corporate events, and customer sites in support of Trane Service, including formal presentations, sales discussions, and supporting tradeshows.
• Establish product lines' selling story and ensure the service sales support department, business units, and field sales are familiar with it.
• Understand competitors' products and communicate this information to the field and internal teams.
• Participate in cross-functional projects related to new product development and sales tools.
