Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Product Support Engineer- Building Services to provide in-depth technical and strategic sales support for our chiller portfolio. You will develop marketing content, advise on product usage for electrification and decarbonization, and travel to customer sites to support service sales and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant industry work experience.
• 2+ years of engineering related work experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to travel independently up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and marketing/sales support to the service sales field organization through phone/email support, direct customer interaction, special product selection/pricing/quotation activity, new product development, marketing content, and customer factory visits.
• Travel to sales offices, corporate events, and customer sites in support of Trane Service, including formal presentations, sales discussions, and supporting tradeshows.
• Establish product lines' selling story. Ensure that the service sales support department and field teams are familiar with the selling story.
• Understanding competitors' products and strategies and communicating this information to the field and internal teams.
• Participate in team decision-making and problem solving with cross-functional teams.
• Price projects and assist in bid strategies.
