Job summary

Daikin-Goodman-Manufacturing- seeks a Design Engineer to design, analyze, and document HVAC products from requirements, creating and sustaining specifications and coordinating with vendors for information and support.

You will develop and manage schedules for new and existing designs, perform tolerance, thermodynamic, and CFD analyses, and document BOMs, drawings, and ECRs, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch improvements on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years in a high-volume HVAC environment preferred.
• 2+ years in product design in HVAC, automotive, or appliance.

Responsibilities

• Create and sustain HVAC product designs and specifications.
• Develop and manage schedules for new and existing designs.
• Analyze designs with tolerance, thermodynamics, FEA, and CFD.
• Document designs with BOMs, cost analyses, drawings, and ECRs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams for launches.
• Drive continuous improvement in design and quality.
