Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Building System Surveyor to support HVAC pre-sales at a local branch. You will conduct site surveys, coordinate with subcontractors, and deliver COE documentation in collaboration with COE engineers.

The role emphasizes adherence to standard processes, knowledge of JCI products, and effective communication with sales and installation teams. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years field HVAC operations/installation or 8+ years HVAC sales.
• Experience with IP networking basics.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely and accurate HVAC site surveys and on-site equipment assessments.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for project bid quotes and proposals.
• Prepare COE survey documentation using Salesforce, Office 365, and SharePoint.
• Review project costing estimates with installation/operations before submittal.
• Adhere to standardized processes and complete site survey documentation.
