Job summary

Johnson Controls Building Solutions is seeking a Building System Surveyor to support HVAC sales teams with on-time, on-site surveys and deliverables for pre-sales at the local branch level.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HVAC field work or 8+ years in HVAC sales, plus IP networking, CAD, Salesforce, and Office 365 proficiency. Some travel to customer sites and branches is expected as part of a collaborative COE network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years field HVAC operations/installation experience or 8+ years HVAC sales experience.
• Experience with IP networking, CAD, and common collaboration tools.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely on-site mechanical or control system surveys at branch level.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for project bids and pricing proposals.
• Prepare COE survey documentation using Salesforce, SharePoint or Office 365.
• Review costing estimates with installation/operations management before submittal.
• Maintain standardized survey deliverables and site drawings.
