Air Around the Clock, serving South Florida, seeks a detail‑oriented Permit Coordinator to ensure permits are processed accurately and inspections are scheduled on time. You will own end‑to‑end permitting for residential HVAC and plumbing projects, working with homeowners, inspectors, and internal teams to keep projects on track.

The role requires proactive problem solving, excellent communication, and a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in permit coordination or permitting administration.
• Familiarity with South Florida municipal permitting processes (Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade).
• Experience coordinating inspections and communicating with building departments.
• Experience in HVAC or plumbing permit workflows is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time-management and multi-tasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Manage entire permitting process from application submission to final inspection and closure.
• Prepare, submit, and track residential HVAC and plumbing permit applications across multiple municipalities.
• Process a high volume of permits (target ~10 per day) and follow up on pending items.
• Maintain accurate permit records and ensure compliance with codes.
• Schedule and coordinate inspections with homeowners, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Communicate inspection requirements and updates to customers and field teams.
• Follow up on failed inspections and corrections; resolve permitting challenges with stakeholders.
• Serve as point of contact for permitting questions; build relationships with local departments.
