Interstate Mechanical LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an HVAC & Plumbing Estimator to join our team. You will perform detailed take-offs, prepare accurate estimates, and support project teams from proposal through project execution.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in estimating or 7–10 years in related fields, experience with FastDUCT and FastPIPE, and a strong grasp of mechanical codes. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in estimating, project management, or mechanical construction (or 7-10 years of equivalent education & experience).
• Proficiency with estimating software – FastDUCT & FastPIPE preferred.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical Codes and the ability to interpret bid documents accurately.
• Experience with larger projects and design-build environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimate with Precision – Perform detailed job take-offs to ensure profitability while delivering exceptional value to clients.
• Engage with Clients – Build lasting relationships by understanding client needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leverage Technology – Utilize FastDUCT, FastPIPE, and other estimating software for accurate calculations and projections.
• Support Project Management – Assist in proposal drafting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and preliminary scheduling.
• Market Research – Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate & Innovate – Work both independently and within a team environment to achieve success.
• Handle Additional Responsibilities – Take on duties related to estimating and project execution as needed.
