Job summary

Interstate Mechanical LLC in Phoenix, AZ, seeks an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from planning through completion.

You will manage scheduling, budgeting, procurement, change orders, and field coordination, while maintaining strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in mechanical project management and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PM experience in commercial mechanical industry (HVAC/plumbing).
• Experience managing projects from planning to closeout.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping systems.
• Excellent communication and budgeting skills.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial Plumbing and HVAC projects from planning through completion.
• Track submittals, schedules of values, RFIs, change orders, and billings.
• Develop scopes of work and manage POs for subs and suppliers.
• Plan and oversee scheduling, material control, and field coordination.
• Monitor costs, financial performance, forecasts, and profitability.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, trades, contractors, and vendors.
• Prepare monthly/ quarterly projections and project closeout documentation.
• Support business development with existing and new customers.
• Maintain accurate project documentation.
