Interstate Mechanical LLC is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager in Phoenix to lead one or more commercial plumbing and HVAC projects from planning through completion. You will oversee scheduling, budgeting, procurement, changes, field coordination, and customer relationships to deliver profitable, high‑quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience within the commercial mechanical industry, specifically HVAC and/or plumbing.
• Proven experience managing mechanical projects ranging from approximately $200,000 to $20 million+.
• Strong understanding of commercial plumbing, HVAC, piping, and related mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal requirements, including HVAC/ASHRAE, Plumbing/ASPE, and applicable building codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or multiple commercial plumbing and HVAC projects concurrently.
• Track and manage submittals, schedules of values, project schedules, RFIs, progress billings, and change orders.
• Develop scopes of work and manage purchase orders for subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee project activities including scheduling, engineering coordination, material control, and field requirements.
• Ensure projects are completed in accordance with design requirements, budgets, schedules, quality standards, and customer expectations.
