Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in San Diego seeks a highly organized dispatch coordinator to help run HVAC and plumbing operations. This role focuses on the daily dispatch board, coordinating installs and repairs, tracking callbacks, and keeping technicians moving efficiently.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager, Install Manager, technicians, CSRs, and leadership to ensure no job falls through the cracks and to optimize daily schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching, scheduling or coordinating service work.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfort with outbound calls and texts and communicating updates to customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the daily ServiceTitan dispatch board.
• Coordinate service calls, repairs, installs, warranty work, and callbacks.
• Schedule sold repairs and track incomplete jobs through completion.
• Adjust technician schedules throughout the day as priorities change.
• Help assign the right technician based on skill, location, urgency, and availability.
• Communicate delays, schedule changes, and updates to customers.
• Coordinate follow-up visits when parts or additional work are needed.
• Review open jobs and ensure each item has a next step.
• Fill schedule gaps and recover canceled or unscheduled appointments.
• Maintain accurate notes, statuses, and follow-up tasks in ServiceTitan.

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive professional to help coordinate our HVAC and plumbing operations and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Our company serves thousands of homeowners across San Diego through One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.

This role will help manage the daily dispatch board, coordinate installs and repairs, track callbacks and outstanding work, communicate with customers, and keep technicians moving efficiently.

What You’ll Do

What This Role Is About

We need someone who sees an unscheduled repair, overdue callback, delayed technician, incomplete install, or open spot on tomorrow’s schedule and takes ownership of getting it handled.

You will work closely with our Operations Manager, Install Manager, technicians, CSRs, and leadership team.

• Have HVAC, plumbing, or home-service office experience
• Have dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience
• Are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Take ownership without needing constant direction
• Stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate confidently with technicians and customers
• Have strong follow-through and attention to detail
• Are comfortable making outbound calls and texts
• Have CRM experience; ServiceTitan experience is a strong plus
  
  

Compensation: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
