Job summary

Freund Enterprises, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC and plumbing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and client communications to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

This role requires strong leadership skills and proficiency in construction management software including Sage 300, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial HVAC and/or plumbing construction
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and plumbing drawings and specifications
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and subcontractors
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple HVAC and plumbing construction projects simultaneously.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, billing, and change orders utilizing Sage 300.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and submittals using Bluebeam.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and field personnel.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Manage procurement of equipment and materials to maintain project schedules.
• Monitor labor productivity, project costs, and overall project performance.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, quality requirements, and contract specifications.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Support field teams by resolving technical and operational issues.
• Conduct project closeout activities including punch lists, as-builts, and final billing.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and support business development efforts when needed.
