Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a Senior HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager to lead large commercial HVAC and plumbing projects. You will mentor project engineers and field crews, manage schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and subcontractor performance.

You will build strong relationships with general contractors and owners, gather pricing from vendors, and ensure on-time delivery of materials for multi-million dollar projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or construction.
• 5+ years of experience with HVAC/Plumbing contractors on large commercial projects.
• Experience with project management and scheduling tools.

Senior HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager position with a large mechanical and plumbing construction company

We are a large growing mechanical contractor that works on many large mechanical hvac and plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits, retirement package, and plenty of room for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Meet and mentor all project engineers and field crew.
• Find, Estimate, and Manage HVAC/Plumbing Construction Projects.
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with GC’s and Owners.
• Gather best pricing and on-time delivery of materials from vendors.
• Ability to manage and approve: schedule, billings, submittals, RFI’s & change orders, select and monitor subs.

Requirements

• Local
• Familiar with state building and HVAC/Plumbing codes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or construction.
• 5+ years of experience working for an HVAC or Plumbing Mechanical Contractors on large commercial projects ranging from 50k to $30M+.
• Strong knowledge in BlueBeam, MS Project, Microsoft Office, and/or Quickpen/Accubid preferred.
