Job summary

3M is seeking an HVAC Craftsperson to troubleshoot and maintain plant utilities equipment, including HVAC, Refrigeration, Fire Protection, compressed air and vacuum systems. You will collaborate with Plant Support and Engineering to implement modifications and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in HVAC completed and verified prior to start.
• Universal certification in refrigerant handling.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to call-ins on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain plant utilities equipment including HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, compressed air and vacuum systems.
• Work with Plant Support and Engineering to implement modifications and continuous improvements.
• Test and manage site water treatment equipment.
• Maintain site building automation, electronic and pneumatic controls for utilities equipment.
• Test and maintain fire protection systems.
• Travel up to 5% domestic.
