Job summary

Engineering Resource Group is seeking an experienced HVAC technician for an industrial/manufacturing environment in Mahwah, NJ. You will perform preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot and service commercial and industrial HVAC systems, analyze data, and recommend improvements while following NFPA 70e and Lockout Tagout.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience, a high school diploma, EPA 608 certification, and preferably trade school or an apprenticeship

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience as an HVAC technician for industrial plant HVAC systems.
• Understand control operation, and sequence of operation for commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Follow safety standards, including NFPA 70e and Lockout Tag Out.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance on industrial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and service commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.
• Perform tests and analysis of data to assure proper functioning and provide reliability recommendations.
• Be responsible for general control operation of the plant's HVAC system.
• Adhere to NFPA 70e and Lockout Tag Out safety standards.

• Primary responsibilities will include: Perform preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot and service of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Perform tests and analysis of data to assure the proper functioning of equipment and provide recommendations to improve reliability.
• Responsible for the general control operation of the plant's HVAC system.
• Follow all safety standards, including NFPA 70e and Lockout Tag Out.
• At least 5 years experience as an HVAC technician for industrial plant HVAC systems.
• Understand control operation, and sequence of operation for commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• At least a high school diploma.
• Trade School or other HVAC Apprenticeship Program preferred.
• EPA 608 certification (Type II or Universal).
• Wide pay range from $25 to $40/hour depending on experience level.
