Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking an HVAC Operations Manager to lead the Boiler Service and Boiler Projects organizations in Bowie, MD. You will drive revenue, gross margin, and operational objectives while ensuring safety and client satisfaction.

You will manage supervisors, oversee annual plans and budgets, mentor technicians, and foster continuous improvement across Boilers, HVAC, Controls, and Special Projects. This is a field-and-office role with strategic impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent commercial boiler/mechanical contracting experience.
• 8+ years in commercial boiler or mechanical service with 4+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Boiler Service and Boiler Projects organizations.
• Direct the Boiler Service Supervisor and Boiler Projects Supervisor.
• Develop and execute the annual business plan, budget, and operational objectives.
• Own revenue, gross margin, operating income, labor utilization, and forecasting.
• Lead WIP reviews, backlog planning, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure maintenance agreements, inspections, emergency response, and repair work are completed safely and on time.
