Job summary

Daikin Applied Huntsville, AL is seeking a District Operations Manager to oversee service operations and supervision within the district, driving safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate with Account Managers and the District Manager, manage technicians, review estimates, schedules, and revenue reports, and lead initiatives to improve service delivery and profitability while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of related work experience in the commercial HVAC industry or related field.
• 8+ years of strategic leadership of an industrial HVAC business unit (Preferred).
• 4+ years of prior experience managing technicians or employees in a similar role required.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC design, systems, applications, and energy saving solutions.
• Demonstrated success in strategically leading business units.

Responsibilities

• Administer safety programs and ensure job site safety compliance.
• Support sales with job quotations and estimations.
• Approve estimates and manage labor/material costs, feeding back to the District Manager.
• Set project timelines and coordinate with customers.
• Lead project teams, schedule equipment orders, and secure signoffs.
• Coordinate quotes for call-in work and timely delivery to customers.
• Provide weekly status and revenue reports to the District Manager.
