Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Long Island City team. This in‑office/field role leads technicians, manages safety and project execution, and partners with sales to drive service opportunities.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or HVAC certification and 2–4 years of people leadership in commercial/industrial HVAC settings, with strong operational oversight and customer relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or HVAC trade/tech certification is required.
• 2–4 years of people leadership experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC system types and performance in commercial/industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Administer safety programs and ensure job-site compliance with training, documentation, audits, and reporting.
• Support sales by assisting with quotations and estimates; review scopes, labor and material costs, and provide feedback to management.
• Establish project timelines, coordinate schedules with customers, assign technicians, manage orders, and secure signoffs.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and development for the technician team; coaching and training support.
• Oversee pricing for service quotes and ensure timely technician assignment and execution.
• Maintain relationships with customers to identify additional service and sales opportunities.
