Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or completion of a vocational program in the building heating and cooling trade or equivalent.
• 5 years' experience in the facilities maintenance field including 1-year experience in a team lead or foreman role.
• EPA Section 608 Universal certification.
• HVAC Journeyman License OR Maryland Stationary Engineer 3rd grade license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform work on mechanical, HVAC, and building automation systems.
• Monitor, instruct, and review work of assigned staff and coordinate training.
• Inspect completed work and maintain records; ensure equipment and rooms are safely maintained.
• Coordinate with contractors and respond to customer concerns.
