Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Mechanical Service Account Executive to grow our market share by delivering advanced mechanical services for the Scarborough, ME region. You will build end-user relationships, capitalize on opportunities, and drive bookings while meeting profit goals.

You will spend significant time in customer-facing activities, collaborate with sales and operations teams, and travel ~10% overnight to support training and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical degree; candidates with a high school diploma or GED plus HVAC experience will be considered.
• 3+ years in technical sales, business development, or consulting within the Mechanical (HVAC) Service industry OR 5+ years in Service Field/Operations in the Mechanical (HVAC) Service industry.
• Ability to demonstrate financial expertise - estimating and selling technical service agreements and retrofit projects.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel 10% overnight for training and business development.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver's license and eligible for Siemens fleet program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Achieve new order/booking and profit goals based on your assigned quota.
• Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities including forecasting expected order intake.
• Understand the marketplace and trends across the region to identify strategic growth opportunities.
• Create a vertical market and account plan to drive new business and expand in adjacent segments.
• Advise customers on services to ensure building systems perform to business goals.
• Attend industry networking events and participate in professional organizations.
• Collaborate with customers to determine budgeting and investment requirements.
• Position Siemens as a leader by leveraging digital service delivery.
• Coordinate with operations and internal teams to deliver outcomes.
• Spend at least 50% of time in customer-facing activities; travel ~10% overnight.
