The role emphasizes strong communication, scheduling, and risk management, with travel required. Experience in HVAC systems and familiarity with project management software are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of comprehensive, technical and operational knowledge of the service business.
• Leads assigned Mechanics on a portfolio of projects typically up to $2M in revenue.
• Two to four years of engineering or trade school training such as an engineering degree or equivalent.
• Installation and Service experience related to HVAC Mechanical systems and equipment is desired.

Responsibilities

• Plans, executes and manages assigned mechanical projects.
• Oversees the mechanical retrofit process per Johnson Controls standards.
• Estimates mechanical work and presents proposals to the customer.
• Acts as a technical resource for Sales and assists with pre-bid reviews.
• Recruits, hires and supervises resources to staff the project team.
• Reviews and interprets contract Terms and Conditions.
