Job summary

CMTA in Boston is seeking a co-op Mechanical/Architectural Engineering student to gain hands-on experience in HVAC system layout, one-line diagrams, and drawing assembly.

You will work onsite during the term, collaborate with designers and engineers, collect field data, and contribute to CMTA projects using AutoCAD and Revit. This paid role offers hands-on training and potential rotations, with possible full-time employment after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, preferably sophomores or juniors.
• Strong interest in Building Systems Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed layout and equipment details of HVAC systems.
• Produce one-line diagrams and schematics.
• Assist the design team in assembling organized sets of drawings.
• May assist in data collection and field verification.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop all aspects of projects.
