Henderson Engineers is seeking a mid to experienced Mechanical Designer specializing in HVAC design to contribute across six market sectors, including Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail and Venue. You will support refrigeration design and collaborate with Henderson Building Solutions for a combined client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural engineering and 3 years of experience (or 6 years without degree).
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and HVAC design software (IESVE, Trane Trace).

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs basic to advanced engineering systems with a high degree of independence.
• Prepares basic to advanced mechanical system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance to plans and specs.
• Performs research and evaluates feasibility and application of systems or equipment.
• Supports business development and pursues opportunities with partners and customers.
• Maintains learning and uses industry software including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office.
• May coordinate project scope, schedule, meetings, and quality responses.
• Assists with training or mentoring others as needed.
