Job summary

Piedmont Service Group in North Carolina is seeking a Level II HVAC Mechanic to perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance, service repairs, startup and commissioning of standard HVAC equipment. You will read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, understand ductwork and refrigerant management, and mentor Level I technicians to boost team effectiveness.

Qualifications

HVAC vocational experience and/or trade certificate.
3+ years HVAC experience with troubleshooting proven.
High school or equivalent; industry knowledge acceptable.
Ability to communicate services performed to customers.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance and service repairs on HVAC systems without supervision.
Analyze, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, startup, adjust and replace mechanical equipment and controls.
Identify predictive failures and provide spot quotes.
Startup and commissioning of standard HVAC equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components.
Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
Document service records and comply with safety protocols.
Mentor Level I HVAC Mechanics; use DST Technology.
