Job summary

Piedmont Service Group, established in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Level II HVAC Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, service repairs, and commissioning on HVAC systems. The role requires reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, understanding ductwork and refrigerant management, and mentoring Level I technicians.

Qualified candidates have HVAC vocational experience, 3+ years of hands-on work, and a Universal CFC Certification.

Qualifications

• HVAC vocational experience and/or trade certificate(s) required.
• >3 years HVAC experience plus 2 years demonstrated troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to communicate services performed with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and service repairs on HVAC systems without supervision.
• Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical equipment and control components; start up and commission standard HVAC equipment.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications; maintain service records and documentation.
