Hyatt Regency New Orleans is seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our Engineering team. You will oversee, maintain, and troubleshoot the hotel’s HVAC system across 1200 rooms and 200,000 sq ft of meeting space, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on listed equipment.

A minimum of 2 years HVAC experience or equivalent trade school training is required. Applicants should be able to diagnose problems, communicate needs for parts, and collaborate with leadership for timely

Responsibilities

• Oversee, maintain and troubleshoot the HVAC system for the hotel’s 1200 rooms and 200,000 sq ft of meeting space
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment
• Diagnose HVAC problems accurately and communicate needs to leadership for parts/orders
• Clean, repair or replace HVAC components as needed
• Collaborate with engineering team to ensure system reliability and uptime
• Support operations during peak events and special meetings
