Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in New Orleans is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team. You’ll maintain hotel equipment and systems, perform preventative maintenance, and handle repairs to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include diagnosing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues, maintaining logs, and supporting emergency responses to minimize guest disruption. Previous maintenance experience preferred; strong problem-solving a must.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems preferred.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and customer-focused with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hotel equipment and systems to keep operations safe and efficient.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to repairs as part of the Engineering team.
• Ensure logs and readings are recorded and communicated to shift teams.
• Assist with safety, energy management, and emergency response tasks.
