Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician at our South Park location in Charlotte, NC. You will perform general maintenance and repairs to ensure apartment homes and facilities are in good working order, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.

The role requires HVAC experience, EPA Type II or Universal certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or related field.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification either held or obtained within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to ensure units and property facilities are in good working order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and follow up with residents after repairs.
