Job summary

SSC Services For Education is hiring a full-time HVAC Technician in Rock Hill, SC. The role focuses on maintaining HVAC, electrical, and related building systems for educational facilities.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting.
• Journeyman Electrical License or EPA Refrigerant certification or Journeyman Plumber License.
• Experience with blueprints/schematics and a valid driver’s license.
• General understanding of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic reactive repairs.
• Update work statuses in the CMMS via mobile device.
• Determine manpower, materials, and deadlines for jobs.
• Diagnose HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems and related equipment.
• Assist in project coordination and report major problems to supervision.
• Maintain and repair systems using tools and appropriate equipment.
• Support vendor reviews and punch list creation, as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and perform repairs as required.
