Job summary

The HVAC Maintenance Technician at SSC Services for Education, a Compass Group USA company, is posted for Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. You will perform skilled maintenance on HVAC and related building systems as part of a team led by Supervisors or Masters.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting.
• EPA Section 608 certification is required.
• Experience with blueprints and schematics; valid driver’s license.
• Understanding of electro-mechanical equipment and ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and basic reactive repairs on HVAC and related systems.
• Update work orders and document tasks in CMMS via mobile device.
• Assist in determining manpower, materials, and deadlines for jobs and projects.
• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems and related equipment.
