Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

  • Reliable attendance and professional attitude.
  • Background screening and drug screening may apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
  • Inspect systems for proper operation and identify issues.
  • Replace filters, belts, and other basic components as needed.
  • Document service performed and communicate findings clearly.
  • Provide professional customer service during all interactions.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if assigned).
  • Assist senior technicians with repairs and installations as needed.
  • Complete required training and certification programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Entry‑Level HVAC Maintenance Technician
Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry‑Level HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a long‑term career in the HVAC industry.

The technician will assist with performing preventative maintenance, system inspections, basic troubleshooting, and general service support for residential and/or commercial heating and cooling systems.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, customer‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced field environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
  • Clean and maintain HVAC equipment, components, and work areas
  • Inspect systems for proper operation and identify potential issues
  • Replace filters, belts, and other basic components as needed
  • Document service performed and communicate findings clearly
  • Provide professional customer service during all interactions
  • Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if assigned)
  • Assist senior technicians with repairs and installations as needed

Specific Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructionsMust be able to successfully pass a background screening and drug screening, if applicable
Preferred (but not required)
  • EPA Certification
  • Previous experience in maintenance, construction, mechanical trades, or customer service
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and tools
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and mechanical rooms
  • Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime as needed
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
