Job summary

Service Experts is seeking an entry-level HVAC technician to perform precision tune-ups and routine maintenance on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment. The role involves inspecting systems, assisting technicians, delivering parts, and recording service data on a handheld device.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED, 0–2 years of HVAC experience, EPA/safety certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0-2+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification preferred.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant and duct systems on HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and precision tune-ups on HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Assist Service Technician and deliver/remove parts and equipment as needed.
• Record job details using handheld device and complete all forms accurately; collect payment if required.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote products/services; communicate with dispatcher for status updates.
• Maintain company property, vehicles and tools; represent the company professionally and ethically.
