Cranney Home Services in Danvers, MA is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to service residential systems.

You will perform maintenance, diagnose issues, and communicate clearly with homeowners while maintaining detailed service notes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a licensed HVAC training program.
• EPA Certification required.
• Ability to run service calls independently.
• Basic electrical knowledge (low voltage).
• Knowledge of A/C and furnace components.
• 1+ year HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC maintenance and service on residential home comfort systems.

What You'll Do

• Perform HVAC maintenance and service on residential home comfort systems.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about recommended services and explain what is needed and why.
• Ask thoughtful questions and listen carefully to homeowners' needs and concerns.
• Identify comfort issues and recommend high-quality solutions.
• Use strong technical, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills to diagnose and address HVAC concerns.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset while working and driving.
• Work collaboratively with other HVAC Technicians and learn from their knowledge and experience.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service notes and invoices.
• Provide professional, courteous, and exceptional customer service on every call.

Requirements

• Graduate of a licensed HVAC training program.
• EPA Certification required.
• Ability to run service calls independently.
• Basic electrical knowledge, including low-voltage systems.
• Basic knowledge of A/C and furnace components.
• 1+ year of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and identifying HVAC parts and components.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate, thorough service notes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Tablet proficiency and comfort using technology in the field.
• Strong willingness to learn and continuously develop your technical skills and knowledge.
