Job summary

Manpower, Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support our client’s building operations in Indianapolis. The role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems and building equipment, with emphasis on reliability and safety.

You will manage work orders using a CMMS, inspect facilities, and assist with related trades. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in maintenance, at least 3 years of commercial HVAC, and a high school diploma. EPA Universal License is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of maintenance experience with at least 3 years in commercial HVAC.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and CMMS/Maximo systems.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work safely in an industrial facility environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; EPA Universal License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment and building systems.
• Clean HVAC coils, replace filters and belts, and support HVAC repairs.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building equipment.
• Prioritize and complete work orders using a CMMS system with accurate documentation.
• Conduct facility inspections and perform general maintenance tasks including painting and locksmith work.
