Job summary

Engineering Excellence is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems in the Indianapolis area. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, communicate solutions clearly, and take ownership of complex service calls to ensure reliable system performance.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of experience, EPA 608 Universal certification, and strong reading of wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal is required
• Advanced skills in servicing commercial HVAC equipment
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems
• Professional communication with customers and dispatchers
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• On-call availability and flexible hours are expected

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial service and maintenance calls under supervision
• Diagnose and resolve customer problems in a courteous and timely manner
• Inspect and service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment
• Record call details and complete paperwork accurately
• Deliver excellent customer service and promote company products/services
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and inventory and adhere to safety procedures
